While much of the park remains closed to the public, there are several ways to experience and learn about the park virtually. California State Parks has partnered with a variety of organizations to provide exclusive photos, videos, and interactive virtual exhibits of the park interior for the public to explore. Presented by Friends of Santa Cruz State Parks, a series of 3D scans were collected in Summer 2021 to provide the public with an opportunity to view initial forest recovery in key areas following the 2020 CZU Fire. These scans are available on the Matterport platform by clicking on the links below.
